The School Day

Reception to Year 6

At Wardley Primary School, we begin the morning session at 8.45am each day. This is when the register is taken. Our school day ends at 3.15pm across all classes.

This equates to 32.5 hours in school each week. 

Nursery

Our morning nursery session begins at 8.40am and ends at 11.40am. This equates to 15 hours per week. 

Our afternoon nursery session begins at 12.25pm and ends at 3.25pm. This equates to 15 hours per week. 

For children who are eligible for extended provision in nursery (30 hours), the session begins at 8.40am and ends at 3.25pm on Monday to Thursday. On Friday, the children begin at 8.40am and the session ends at 11.40am.
