Year 6 have been learning a range of different topics that build on past knowledge, looking at the calendar, clothing, animals and colours. They have excelled in broadening their vocabulary and applying new words to past topics. For example, describing the colours of animals and describing their own self-portraits in depth. 

In the pictures shown, they have created their own language keys to look back on when answering questions, as well as creating their own descriptions, which has boosted their independence.
