Year 6 Celebrate Their IntoUniversity Journey!

Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed their final two days working with the team at IntoUniversity, taking part in a range of exciting activities designed to broaden their horizons and inspire their futures.

The children explored what university is, the different subjects they could study and what life as a university student might be like. They enjoyed looking through university prospectuses to discover more about the courses and opportunities available. They also created their own special leaves, sharing their hopes, dreams and goals for the future.

The children completed their research into an influential figure in engineering and proudly presented their findings to their classmates and parents at a special graduation ceremony held at Northumbria University. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their hard work and share everything they had learnt.

We hope the experience has inspired our Year 6 children, encouraged them to aim high and given them a valuable insight into the exciting opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.
