Need a New Umbrella?

Year 2 have been studying the properties of different materials as part of their science topic. 

The children designed and carried out an experiment aimed at testing the suitability of different materials for use in a new umbrella.  Before they began,  they agreed that the material would have to be - lightweight, strong and waterproof.
